CAIRO, Ill. -- Zeb M. Harper, 92, of Paducah, Ky., formerly of Cairo, died Friday, July 3, 1998, at Superior Care Center in Paducah.
She was born on Nov. 16, 1905, at Mounds, daughter of Charles and Lillie Wood Darley.
She and her late husband, Harold M. Harper, founded and operated Harpers Restaurant in Cairo before their retirement in 1976.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Cairo and the Egyptian Country Club in Mounds. She was an avid golfer.
Survivors include two sons, Jack Harper of Paducah and William R. Harper of Owensboro, Ky.; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson.
Friends may call at the Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo from 10 to noon Monday.
Funeral will be conducted at noon Monday at the funeral home.
The Rev. Kelly Cox will officiate. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens at Villa Ridge.
