Zackary Eggers

LEE'S SUMMIT, Mo. -- Zackary David Eggers, 7 weeks, of Greenwood, Mo., became a heavenly angel Tuesday, March 28, 2006, at Children's Mercy Hospital-KC. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, March 31, 2006, at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 350 SW 150 Hwy, Greenwood, Mo. 64034 with visitation from 2-3 at the church; burial in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to March of Dimes, 4050 Pennsylvania, Ste. 141, Kansas City, Mo., 64111 or Down Syndrome Guild of Greater Kansas City, 10200 W. 75th, Ste. 281, Shawnee Mission, KS 66204.

Zackary was born Feb. 6, 2006, along with his brother Samuel and sister Klair in Kansas City. Zackary was welcomed in heaven by his grandfathers, William Eggers and Kenneth Knudson.

Zackary is survived by his parents, David and Kathleen; two brothers, Lucas and Samuel; and sister, Klair, all of the home; and both grandmothers, Edith Eggers of Jackson and Joyce Knudson of Ft. Dodge, Iowa.

Zackary especially thanks all his doctors and nurses at Children's Mercy and St. Luke's on the Plaza for their care and compassion. Even though Zackary was only with us a short while, his strength, courage and personality will always be remembered and will live on in our hearts.
