Zachary Vanausdoll

GOREVILLE, Ill. -- Zachary Paul Vanausdoll, 17, of Goreville died Sunday, Aug. 10, 2003, at Union County Hospital in Anna, Ill., from injuries received in an automobile accident on Lick Creek Road in Union County.

He was born Aug. 8, 1986, in Carbondale, Ill., son of George R. Patterson and Debra Vanausdoll.

Vanausdoll was a junior at Anna-Jonesboro Community High School and a member of the wrestling team.

Survivors include his mother of Goreville; his father of Gainesville, Fla.; two brothers, Jacob Vanausdoll of Goreville, Sam Patterson of Carbondale; a sister, Kathy Cawthon of Skokie, Ill.; maternal grandparents, Virginia Ebker of Jerseyville, Ill., and Darrel and Eva Vanausdoll of Cardwell, Mo.

Friends may call at Anna Heights Baptist Church in Anna from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with the Rev. Scott Harner officiating.

Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna is in charge of arrangements.
