Zachary Allen "Zach" Robbins, 28, of Jackson passed away Monday, Aug. 23, 2021.

He was born Sept. 10, 1992, in Cape Girardeau to Allen and Penelope Hicks Robbins.

Zach was a graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School. He worked several years as a forklift operator. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal Baseball fan and was a gifted musician, playing the guitar, piano and violin.

Loving survivors include his parents, Allen Robbins (Amy Romak) and Penelope (Paul) Laurentius of Jackson; grandparents, Bruce (Teresa) Robbins Sr. of Jackson; Vicky (Dennis) Turner of Lowndes, Missouri; Kathy Marler of Cape Girardeau; Tomi Sample of Jackson; and Helen (the late Leon) Laurentius of Jackson; eight siblings, Sierra Owen, Chelsey Laurentius, Thomas Robbins, Morgan (Logan) Harris, Brianna Robbins (Austin Lacey), Emily (Keegan) Grear, Devin Robbins and Timothy Deason II; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Zach was preceded in death by a sister, Abigail Deason, and grandfathers, Donald Hicks and Leon Laurentius.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral will be at noon Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Darren DeLoach officiating. Burial will follow at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to Mid-America Teen Challenge.
