Yvonne Ressel died Oct. 9, 2013, at her home in Nesbit, Miss., at the age of 48.
Yvonne was born Nov. 25, 1964, in San Francisco. She graduated from Benjamin Franklin High School in New Orleans. She attended Louisiana State University and received her bachelor of science degree in 1991 from the University of Memphis. Yvonne's passions in life included traveling, yoga, dancing, speaking Spanish and learning new things while inspiring others to do the same.
Yvonne is survived by her husband of 25 years, Kevin Ressel, and siblings Darwin Lesh, Cara Romaguera (Frank) and Christine Kampmann (David). She is the loving aunt of Philip, Olivia and Elinor Romaguera, and Tyler and Hailey Kampmann. She also is survived by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by mother Nancy Hansen Lesh and father Arthur Frederick Lesh.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Church of the River, 292 Virginia Ave. W. in Memphis, Tenn.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Herb Kosten Pancreatic Cancer Research Foundation, where Yvonne served as executive director (kostenfoundation.com).
