BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- Waynas Garrison, 64, of Bloomfield died Friday, June 9, 2000, at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff.
He was born June 26, 1935, in Double Springs, Ala., son of Check and Clara Sutherland Garrison. He and Delores Griffin were married Aug. 7, 1953.
Garrison was a retired poultry farmer for Tyson Foods.
Survivors include his mother; his wife of Sikeston; two daughters, Linda Gean of Essex and Teresa Nation of Bloomfield; two brothers, Wendell Garrison of Lebanon, Tenn., and Kenneth Garrison of Matthews; nine sisters, Wendy Alcorn of Ocala, Fla., Vernell Hill of Whitehouse, Tenn., Glynell Hall of Sikeston, Revelle Hancock and Evelle Doty of Jeffersonsonville, Ind., Laverne Goins, Louise Allred and Rachel Reed of Matthews and Sybil Childers of Austin, Tex.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a son.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gene Robbins officiating. Burial will be in New Morley Cemetery Park in Morley.
