MARBLE HILL - Funeral services for Miss Wreath O. Slinkard, 77, of Marble Hill will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 3, at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. The Rev. Hensley DeSpain and the Rev. Ray Meek will officiate. Burial will be the Glen Allen Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5:30 p.m. today.

Slinkard died Monday, April 1, at the Bond Nursing Care Center in Marble Hill.

She was born in Marquand on April 29, 1913 to the late Marion and Blanche Pair Slinkard.

Survivors include three brothers, Jefferson Slinkard of Advance, Loy Slinkard of Fredericktown, and Loren Slinkard of Cape Girardeau;

Three sisters, Esther Walker of Lutesville, Viola Kirkpatrick of Glen Allen, and Veda Jolly of Fair Oak, Calif.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Ivan, and one sister, Eunice Ruch.

Slinkard was a retired school teacher. She taught in the public schools in Southeast Missouri for 31 years.
