CHARLESTON -- W.R. Nally, 82, of Charleston, died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 1995, at Charleston Manor. He was born Aug. 1, 1912, in Wickliffe, Ky., son of W.R. and Carrie Price Nally Sr. He and Doris Nell Campbell were married Feb. 21, 1935. She died May 8, 1970. He and Maxine Campbell were married June 23, 1971...

CHARLESTON -- W.R. Nally, 82, of Charleston, died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 1995, at Charleston Manor.

He was born Aug. 1, 1912, in Wickliffe, Ky., son of W.R. and Carrie Price Nally Sr. He and Doris Nell Campbell were married Feb. 21, 1935. She died May 8, 1970. He and Maxine Campbell were married June 23, 1971.

Nally was formerly of Wyatt, and was a retired farmer and landowner. He was a member of Wyatt Baptist Church, and IOOF Lodge in Charleston where he had served as grand master and grand treasurer, served on the board of directors of the IOOF Home, and ASCS County Commission.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Robert Nally of Vicksburg, Lowell Nally of Charleston, Charles Nally of Calhoun, La.; a daughter, Carol Bulter of Vail, Ariz.; two stepsons, Cornell Kahn of Grand Rapids, Mich., Alan Kahn of Waco, Texas; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and two stepgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister and grandson.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston after 5 p.m. Thursday.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.
