SIKESTON -- Woodrow W. McKinley, 79, of Sikeston, died Thursday, July 25, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born Dec. 26, 1916, in Baxter, Tenn., son of Homer L. and Daisy Mae Jarred McKinley. He and Charity B. McClain Walker were married Nov. 19, 1955, at Bertrand. She died Oct. 20, 1995.
McKinley retired as a mechanic with Missouri State Highway Department. He was a member of Charleston Masonic Lodge. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include three brothers, Clayborn McKinley of Bertrand, Homer McKinley of Scott City, Horace McKinley of Bertrand; two stepsons, Charles Walker of Sikeston, James Walker of Godfrey, Ill.; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with Dr. Jim Guffie officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
