WOODROW JONES

GORDONVILLE -- Woodrow Lindle Jones, 83, of Gordonville died Sunday, Aug. 1, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born July 3, 1916, at Patton, son of Thomas E. and Radie Jane Killian Jones. He and Velma "Vi" McGraw were married Feb. 13, 1939.

Jones was a crain operator with Potashnick Construction Co. 33 years. He was a member of Local 513 in Bridgeton. He served with the 612th Engineer Unit in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Patton from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Luther Rhodes will officiate. Burial will be in Sedgewickville Cemetery.
