WINONA E. WALKER

BERTRAND -- Winona Evonne Walker, 67, of Bertrand, died Tuesday, Aug. 29, 1995, at her home.

She was born July 17, 1928, in Bertrand, daughter of Grady Donald and Mary Lena Winslow McAdoo Sr. She and Leroy Walker were married July 26, 1948.

Walker had been a housekeeper at Bertrand Nursing Center, and member of Bridges United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Rocky Walker of Charleston; three daughters, Donna Eaker of Allen, Texas, Robin Tanner of Fenton, Patty Daubert of Bertrand; a brother, Dale McAdoo of Merrillville, Ind.; a sister, Jolene McIlroy of Miner; three grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jerry Willer officiating. Burial will be in Armer Cemetery near Bertrand.
