Winifred Eugenia Bone, 76, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2001, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born March 16, 1924, in Cairo, Ill., daughter of Emil and Fannie Schlamer Axelson. She and James S. Bone were married March 1, 1946, in Cairo.
Bone and her family moved to Cape Girardeau in 1955 from Mound City, Ill. She was affiliated with the Lutheran church, and was a member of VFW Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband; a son and daughter-in-law, James and Donna Bone Jr. of Cape Girardeau; a daughter and son-in-law, Joanne and Rob Erlbacher of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Carl Axelson and Albert Axelson of Cairo; four grandchildren, Carl Bone and Robert Erlbacher III of Cape Girardeau, Gregory Bone of Jackson, Mo., and Cassandra Erlbacher of Kansas City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and two sisters.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 5-7 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Paul Short officiating. Entombment will be in Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum.
