JACKSON -- Winefrieda Beck, 73, of Jackson, died Monday, Oct. 5, 1992, at Deal Nursing Home. She was born Aug. 22, 1919 in Laflin, daughter of Henry Leo and Cornelia Van Doren Steinnerd. She was married to Elmer Beck on May 2, 1959. He died Jan. 3, 1982. She worked for Wagner Electric Co. in St. Louis for 33 years. She retired on Aug. 31, 1980 and moved to Jackson, residing at 319 N. She was born Aug. 22, 1919 in Laflin, daughter of Henry Leo and Cornelia Van Doren Steinnerd.

She was married to Elmer Beck on May 2, 1959. He died Jan. 3, 1982. She worked for Wagner Electric Co. in St. Louis for 33 years. She retired on Aug. 31, 1980 and moved to Jackson, residing at 319 N. West Lane.

She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Jackson.

She is survived by six sisters, Margaret Elfrink of Jackson, Genevive Elfrink of Bridgeton, Ursula Nenninger of Leopold, Loretta Arnzen of Jackson, Eula Van Gennip of Marble Hill, and Monica Lewis of Gordonville.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Chapel in Jackson. Parish prayers will be held at 7 p.m.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church in Jackson with Monsignor Edward Eftink officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
