ORAN -- Wilson "Glick" Soehlig, 84, of Oran died Friday, June 13, 1997, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Sept. 8, 1912, in Jackson, son of Albert F. and Katie Jones Soehlig. He and Dorothy Williams were married Dec. 25, 1943.
Soehlig had been a salesman with Suedekum Electric in Cape Girardeau. He was a member of First Baptist Church, and former music director and Sunday School teacher.
Survivors include his wife; and a brother, Floyd Soehlig of Jacksonville, Fla.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran after 5 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Ed Carter officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley.
