PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Wilson Lee Denton, 77, of Libby, Mont., formerly of Perryville, died Tuesday, July 12, 2005, at Libby Care Center.
He was born March 16, 1928, in Essex, Mo., son of James and Elizabeth Sweet Denton. He and Ioma Horn were married Nov. 23, 1946.
Denton had worked in the plumbing, heating, air-conditioning and sheet metal industries. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Libby, and a former member of Sedgewickville Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Ronnie Denton of Bowling Green, Ky., Gerry Denton of Marble Hill, Mo., Bill Denton of Troy, Mont., Randy Denton of Perryville; a daughter, Bonnie Bryson of Libby; two brothers, James Denton of Mayville, Mich., Hubert Denton of Jackson; two sisters, Myrtle of Russellville, Ala., Dorothy of Marble Hill; 15 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville from 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to noon.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Sedgewickville Baptist Church, with the Rev. Tommy Knodell officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
