BENTON -- Wilma Virginia McCutchen, 63, of Route 1, Benton died Saturday, Feb. 22, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Nov. 22, 1928, in Stoddard County, the daughter of Clyde Cecil and Ruth Ethel Moore Brewer. On Oct. 4, 1946, she married Alfred McCutchen, who survives of the home.

She lived most of her life in Mississippi County, before moving to Scott County 15 years ago. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church near Benton.

Other survivors include two sons, Michael McCutchen of Clinton, Ken. and Clyde McCutchen of Winamac, Ind.; a daughter, Dorothy Thompson of rural Benton; a step-son, Buddy McCutchen of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, William Brewer of Tampa, Fla. and Sam Brewer of Skokie, Ill.; three sisters, Dorothy Lemons of Lexington, Ken., Wanda Felts of Steger, Ill. and Frances Bridgewater of South Fulton, Tenn.; 17 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

A brother preceded her in death.

Friends may call prior to funeral service at 2 p.m. today at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. The Rev. Dale Huff will officiate, and burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery in East Prairie.
