Wilma Margaret Spaeth, 78, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Dec. 15, 2002, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 9, 1924, in Kansas City, Mo., daughter of David Blair and May Hester Huffman Moffitt. She and Arthur C. Spaeth were married Aug. 9, 1944, in Kansas City.
Spaeth was secretary 25 years at May Greene School. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Rodney Vista Homemakers, had been an aide at St. Vincent's School and volunteer at Birthright several years.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Arthur Brent Spaeth of Southlake, Texas, Paul Spaeth of Tucson, Ariz., Kevin Spaeth of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Deborah Ann Spaeth of Pacific, Mo.; a sister, Viola Madsen of Lenexa, Kan.; and six grandchildren.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 5 to 9 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Charles Prost officiating. Entombment will be in Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum.
