PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Wilma L. Schuessler, 87, of Perryville died Jan. 27, 2005, at Perry County Nursing Home.
She was born Oct. 15, 1917, at Uniontown, Mo., daughter of Arthur and Agnes Telle Kasten. She and Edmund H. "Red" Schuessler were married May 3, 1941. He died July 16, 1996.
Schuessler had been a cook at Perry County Nursing Home. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Bereans Bible Class, VFW Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary and AmVets Auxiliary.
Survivors include two daughters, Katherine Renner of Uniontown, Marjorie Kinnison of Perryville; a brother, Elmer Kasten of Kennewick, Wash.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today, and Saturday from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Immanuel Church, with the Rev. Christopher Cole officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Cemetery.
