Wilma Jane Ragland, 76, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 1999, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Aug. 26, 1923, at Liberty, daughter of Jesse Lee and Mary Elizabeth Peters Squires. She and Judge Edwin F. Ragland were married Aug. 14, 1942, in Greenville, S.C.
Ragland had worked at JCPenney in Cape Girardeau, and had been a model at Kline's Department Store in Kansas City.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Lee Ragland of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Terri Goodhart of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
There is no visitation.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. Clayton Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
