Bechel, 72, died Monday, June 5, 1995, at Fountainbleau Lodge.

She was born Jan. 19, 1923, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Albert J. and Ethel E. Rhodes Bechel.

Bechel had worked at F.W. Woolworth Stores, Davis Electric, and International Shoe Co. She was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her mother of Cape Girardeau, and a brother, Willard Bechel of Cape Girardeau.
