Wilma “Imogene” Littleton, 87, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Dec. 1, 2016, at Westchester House in Chesterfield, Missouri.
She was born Dec. 3, 1928, in Neelys Landing to Warren G. and Helen Schloss Huffman. She and Wesley Leon Littleton were married Feb. 8, 1946, in Jackson. He preceded her in death June 6, 2005.
She was an active member of Red Star Baptist Church since 1952. She had been a Sunday-school teacher at Red Star. Known as “Miss Imy,” she had worked several years at Dollar General.
Survivors include a son, Gary (Carol) Littleton of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Sandra Steinburk of St. Louis; five grandchildren, Ross (Denise) Gartman of Cape Girardeau, Lance Gartman of Cape Girardeau, Bart (Sheila) Gartman of Cape Girardeau, Timothy Steinburk and Nicole (Todd) Laviolet; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a grandchild, Kristine Steinburk.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
