O’FALLON, Mo. — Wilma Jean Hanlon, 87, of O’Fallon died Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at Del Mar Gardens.
She was born Oct. 26, 1929, in Cape Girardeau to the late Ardello William and Lucille Maudie Riehn Bentley. She married Alfred Vincent Hanlon on Feb. 15 1947. He preceded her in death Dec. 18, 1999.
She was a member of Hope Church in St. Louis.
She is survived by two sons, Steve (Chris) Hanlon of Wentzville, Missouri, and Mike (Linda) Hanlon of St. Louis; a daughter, Victoria (Larry) Raftery of Chicago; a brother, Gary Bentley of Chaffee, Missouri; three sisters, Jackie Mansker of St. Louis, LaWanda Talley of Dexter, Missouri, and Bonnie Sadler of Sikeston, Missouri; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren, with one on the way.
She also was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
Visitation will be at 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Larry Raftery officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
