WILMA GROJEAN

CHAFFEE -- Wilma Grojean, 83, of Chaffee, died Friday, Aug. 28, 1992, at Chaffee Nursing Center.

She was born March 5, 1909, at Dutchtown, daughter of Martin and Nellie Miller Fredrick. She and Anthony Charles Grojean were married Nov. 18, 1929. He died Oct. 10, 1977.

Grojean was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and Daughters of St. Ambrose.

Survivors include two sons, Charles Grojean of Gordonville, Glen Grojean, Cape Girardeau Route 1; two daughters, Dorothy McBride of Marmaduke, Ark., Bonnie Holt of Paragould, Ark.; a brother, Russell Fredrick of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Olivia Williams of Chaffee, Lucille LeGrand of Cape Girardeau, Neva Vetter of Oran, Melva Levy of Millstadt, Ill.; 21 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, three brothers and a sister.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Ambrose Church. The Rev. Allan Saunders will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee after 4 p.m. today. A prayer service will be held at 7:30.
