Wilma Bohnert

LONGTOWN, Mo. -- Wilma M. Bohnert, 90, formerly of Longtown, died Sunday, April 23, 2006, at Perry County Nursing Home in Perryville, Mo.

She was born Jan. 16, 1916, at Schalls, Mo., daughter of William J. and Pearl May Farrar Puntmann. She and Wilpert J. "Wib" Bohnert were married Nov. 6, 1938. He died March 19, 2001.

Bohnert was a member of Zion Lutheran Church at Longtown.

Survivors include a son, Ronald Bohnert of Perryville; a daughter, Nancy Berkbuegler of Perryville; seven grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville from 4 to 8 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:15 a.m.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church in Longtown. The Rev. Paul Winningham will officiate. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
