SIKESTON, Mo. -- Wilma D. Austin, 86, of Sikeston died Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at Pacific Care in Pacific, Mo.
She was born July 12, 1920, in Knoble, Ark., daughter of William E. and Nellie Wiseman Brown. She and Freeman Austin were married April 20, 1940, in Corning, Ark. He died Feb. 12, 1988.
Austin had been a cook at Sheehy's IGA in Sikeston and Running Horse Cafe in Morehouse, Mo. She was a member of Calvary Temple.
Survivors include a son, David Austin of St. Charles, Mo.; two daughters, Joan Faulkner of Pacific, Patti Agee of Benton, Mo.; a sister, Jean Austin of Brier, Wash.; 17 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a brother and four sisters.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Garden of Memories Cemetery. The Rev. Larry Davis will officiate.
