Willis Marshall Orrell, 63, of Jackson died Friday, April 13, 2007, at his home.
He was born in Jackson on March 17, 1944, to Otis M. Orrell and Edna Marie (Conley) Orrell. He married Sharon A. Cook March 27, 1970.
He graduated Jackson High School in 1962 and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1962 to 1967 and the U.S. Naval Reserves Seabees from 1980 to 1999.
Orrell was employed at Nordenia USA, where he worked in maintenance for 17 years, and also worked as a driver for DHL part time. He previously worked at Lenco Inc. of Jackson for 23 years. He was a member of the Covenant Christian Church in Fruitland.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Orrell of Jackson; a son, Wesley Orrell and wife Lacey of Indianapolis, Ind.; a daughter, Michelle Luckie and husband Matthew of Roanoke, Va.; two sisters, Martha Schreiner of Jackson and Glenda Livers of Marble Hill, Mo.; a grandson, Isaiah Luckie.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tanya Jo Orrell.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. today at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home, with the Revs. Terry Culberson and Mark Culberson officiating. Interment will be at Pulliam Cemetery with full military honors.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and the American Lung Association.
