GLENALLEN, Mo. -- Willis Clell Myers, 70, of Glenallen passed away Monday, Dec. 26, 2011, at his home.

He was born Aug. 16, 1941, in Wayne County, Mo., son of Clell Patrick and Jane L. Stroup Myers. He and Helen Gray were united in marriage Dec. 25, 1966.

He retired from Revelle Lumber Co. He was a member of Carpenters Local 1795, Carpenter District of St. Louis, and a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Gravelton, Mo.

He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army from 1964 to 1966.

Survivors include his wife, Helen of Glenallen; three daughters, Amanda Wilkinson of Marble Hill, Mo., Abbey Jansen of Leopold, Mo., Andrea Crabtree of Jackson; four sisters, Eulah Stephens of Fredericktown, Mo., Norma Lawrence of St. Louis, Mabel Boyd of Farmington, Mo., Dorothy Key of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Delores Moore and Nina Koerner.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Rick Pettey officiating. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery at Gravelton.
