CAIRO, Ill. --4 Funeral Mass for Willis D. LaFoon of Cairo will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. The Rev. Jerome Fortenberry will officiate. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens at Villa Ridge, Ill.
Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Monday.
LaFoon, 86, died Thursday, May 24, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Sept. 21, 1914, in Miller City, Ill., son of Bertram and Emma Willis LaFoon.
LaFoon was a retired accountant and had owned LaFoon Office Supply. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church and Cairo Elks Lodge 651.
He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Lora; two daughters, Claire Watson of Cape Girardeau, Vicki Brantley of Paducah, Ky.; a sister, Bernice Smith of Decatur, Ill.; and two granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
