CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Funeral service for Willis Andrew (Trey) Springer III, 1810 Thilenius, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Vincent's Catholic Church. The Rev. Ken Grass will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 5-9 p.m. today.

Trey, 17 years old, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 1990, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born Jan. 2, 1973, in Cape, son of Willis A. and Mark McMullen Springer Jr.

Trey was a senior at Notre Dame High School, where he had been a member of the varsity soccer team and participated in musicals. He was a member of St. Vincent's Church, member and soccer coach of Cape Youth League All Stars, and particiapted in the Show Me Games.

Survivors include his parents; a sister, Susan Springer of the home; paternal grandparents, Bill and Betty Springer of Cape; maternal grandmother, Ruth Loos McMullen of Cape; aunts and uncles, Vicki McMullen, Bud and Dee Kimmich of Cape, Paul Loos of South Bend, Ind., and Joseph Hallenbeck of Meridian, Miss.
