CAIRO, Ill. -- William Berbling Glaab, 85, of Cairo, died Friday, June 27, 1997, at Daystar Care Center in Cairo.
He was born May 29, 1912, in Cairo, son of the late William and Dottie Sellars Glaab. He was a salesman for the Bunny Bread Co. before his retirement, and a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eura Glaab, in 1980.
He is survived by his son, Phillip D. Glaab of Ashland, Mo.; his sister, Guelda Rives of Cairo; four grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and other relatives.
Visitation is at the Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo, where friends may call from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Monday. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Patricks Catholic Church, the Rev. Jerome Fortenberry officiating. Interment will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens at Villa Ridge.
