SIKESTON -- Willie B. "Do Da Bug" Walker, 53, of Sikeston died Friday, Sept. 26, 1997, at the Vencor Hospital in St. Louis as the result of a June 15 automobile accident near Morley.
He was born Dec. 9, 1943, in Bell City, the son of Vallet and Florence Coleman Walker Sr.
He attended Bell City public schools and served in the Army, receiving an honorable discharge. He was a member of the West End Baptist Church, employed at Hudson's Foods in Dexter and was a member of Peaceful Lodge 181 AF & AM Prince Hall Masons of Missouri.
He is survived by three sons, Willie Walker Jr., Vallet Walker and Brian Walker, all of Sikeston; four daughters, Lisa Morris of Warsaw, Wis., Doretha Lindsay of St. Louis, and Ylonda Glispie of Sikeston; a sister, Norma Wright Robinson of Sikeston; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the West End Baptist Church, where Masonic rites will be conducted at 7 p.m.
Funeral service will be Friday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Ronald Williams officiating. Burial will be in JC Pullen Memorial Cemetery at Bell City.
