JACKSON -- Funeral service for Willie T. Ruesler of Jackson will be held at 2 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Rodney Travis will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
Ruesler, 86, died Thursday, Oct. 8, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born March 1, 1906, near Oak Ridge, son of Charles and Emma Grebe Ruesler.
Ruesler farmed most of his life, and had worked for city of Cape Girardeau. He had also been associaed with Southeast Missouri District Fair. He was a long-time member of First Baptist Church, and had served as an usher.
Survivors include a brother, Harry Ruesler of Cape Girardeau, and a sister, Dehlia Mangels of Oak Ridge.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
