An inspiration to so many who knew her, Billye was an entrepreneur, a world traveler, a force of nature and a great heart. She was a passionate friend to animals and an advocate for animal welfare charities and possessed boundless love for her menagerie of dogs, cats and potbelly pigs.

She is survived by Kenneth, her husband of 60 years; as well as their daughter, Stacey Storey; granddaughter, Natasha Storey Ford; grandsons, Shadrick Beechem and Nicholas Ryan; and seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri or Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary of Jackson.

Online condolences may be made at www.fordandsonsfuneralhome.com.
