CAIRO, Ill. -- Willie M. "Bill" Rose, 93, of Cairo died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo. An Elks memorial service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens at Villa Ridge, Ill., with Dr. Larry L. Potts officiating. Interment will follow, with military honors offered by area veterans organizations and the U.S. Army.
