ANNISTON -- Willie Belle Coleman Chenault, 95, of Sherwood, Ark., died Wednesday, April 14, 1999, at West Lake Living Center in Sherwood. She was born Nov. 10, 1903, in Anniston, daughter of William N. and Kate Thurman Tatum. She first married George Herbert Coleman Jan. 1, 1921. He died July 1, 1972. She and Garland Chenault were married July 4, 1981. He died April 10, 1995...

ANNISTON -- Willie Belle Coleman Chenault, 95, of Sherwood, Ark., died Wednesday, April 14, 1999, at West Lake Living Center in Sherwood.

She was born Nov. 10, 1903, in Anniston, daughter of William N. and Kate Thurman Tatum. She first married George Herbert Coleman Jan. 1, 1921. He died July 1, 1972. She and Garland Chenault were married July 4, 1981. He died April 10, 1995.

She moved to Arkansas several years ago from Anniston. She was a member of First Christian Church in Anniston.

Survivors include a daughter, Ann Korte of Jacksonville, Ark.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Anniston Cemetery, with Martin Lucas officiating.

Huson Funeral Home of Little Rock, Ark., and Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie is in charge of arrangements.
