Funeral service for Eldor "Willie" Borchelt of Cape Girardeau will be held at 11 a.m. today at Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. David V. Dissen will officiate, with entombment in Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Friends may call at the church from 10 a.m. until service time.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Borchelt, 80, died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 1997, at his home.
He was born Dec. 13, 1916, at Egypt Mills, son of Julius and Clara Hente Borchelt. He and Marie Brinkman were married Oct. 2, 1943, at Egypt Mills.
Borchelt retired from Cape Paint and Glass. He was a member of Trinity Church, and former elder and member of its Men's Club.
Survivors include his wife; a son, John Borchelt of St. Louis; a daughter, Jane Jones of Jackson; a brother, Oscar Borchelt of Seattle, Wash.; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
