Willie B. Goodwin, 90, 1935 Weissinger, died Tuesday, April 11, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born June 23, 1904, in Longtown, Miss., son of John and Vernon Bretherick Goodwin. He and Lila Kelly were married Dec. 24, 1924.
Goodwin had been an accountant with Western Auto, and had also managed Marks Savings and Loan in Marks, Miss. He was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and its Men's Bible Class, and a Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Bob Goodwin of Marks; a daughter, Mildred Rose of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Viola O'Neill of Longtown, Miss., Julie Goodwin of Hampton, Va.; 7 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at C.O. Pate Funeral Home in Senatobia, Miss. The Rev. Neil Stein will officiate, with burial in Longtown Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:30-8:30 p.m. today.
