PORTAGEVILLE, Mo. -- William E. Young Jr., 74, of Greenville, Miss., died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2001, at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville.
He was born in Missouri, son of William Elmer and Ollie Ethel Knight Young.
Young had lived in Greenville 20 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include a brother, Walter Young of Cape Girardeau.
Friends may call at DeLisle Funeral Home after 6 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The Rev. Ed Rhodes will officiate. Burial will be in Portageville Cemetery.
