William R. Walker, 81, of Cape Girardeau passed away June 16, 2011, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Nov. 5, 1929, in St. Louis, to Ella Reid.
William grew up in Cape Girardeau and worked at the Rialto theater and the Esquire as a janitor for many years. He was also a veteran who proudly served his country.
Survivors include a brother, Walter Walker of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be at 1 p. m. Tuesday at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Bob Towner officiating. Burial will follow at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
