HUMBOLDT, Tenn. -- William Frank "Bill" Wagner was born Aug. 20, 1941, in Deering, Missouri, to the late Grady Truman and Mary Evadean Wagner. On Monday, Jan. 31, 2022, Bill passed away at the age of 80.
He worked in broadcasting for the majority of his life. He loved fishing and talking to the area's local farmers. He was an avid record collector. He even ran for state representative in the state of Missouri in 2003. His last adventure took him to agriculture reporting for a local radio station in Southeast Missouri.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories forever two daughters, Tina Wagner and Michelle (Brent) Heise; a stepdaughter, Debbie (Tom) Orosz; grandchildren, Francesca (Mario) Shelton and Clay Pinsanor; four great-grandchildren, Cordell, Mario Jr., Mercedes and Amajinae; two sisters, Joanne (Gary) Morris and Louise Pack; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Preceding Bill in death were his parents, Grady and Mary Wagner; wife, Linda Wagner; ex-wife, Janet Wagner; grandson, Marcus Pinsanor; and two brothers, James and Jerry Wagner.
A celebration of life will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Feb. 26 at Advance First Church, 401 N. Oak St., in Advance, Missouri.
