JACKSON -- William Thomas Minner, 70, of Jackson, died Aug. 76, 1994, at Jackson Manor.
He was born May 1, 1924, at St. Louis, son of Richard and Mary Gibbs Minner.
He married Marie Regan, Oct. 25, 1941. She died Aug. 10, 1971. He then married Vera Darnell, Nov. 18, 1972.
Minner was a truck driver for Cape Ready Mix.
He was a member of the American Legion Post in Jackson and the Teamsters Union.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Richard Minner of Scott City, Ike Minner of High Ridge, Robin Minner of Cape Girardeau, Patrick Minner of Gordonville; five stepsons, Tom Gast of Aeworth, Ga., John Gast and Don Gast, both of Jackson, Mike Gast of Portland, Ore., Danny Gast of Blytheville, Ark.; four daughters, Toni Stanton of Scott City, Mary Crigger and Jacquelyn Woods, both of Jackson, Martha Robertson of Cape Girardeau; three stepdaughters, Darlene Bridges of Taylor, Mich., Mary Lawrence of Cape Girardeau, Terri Woods of Gordonville; two brothers, Jack Minner of Edwardsville, Ill., Richard Minner of Osage Beach; two sisters, Laura Jo Larrabee and Sallye Burlingame, both of Glen Carbon, Ill.; 25 grandchildren; 21 stepgrandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and 11 stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today, and from 8:30 a.m. to the time of funeral services on Tuesday at the McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. An Honor Guard service will be at 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Perry Culverston officiating.
Burial will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
