William A. Sturgeon, 55, of Ferguson, Mo., died Saturday, March 16, 2002, at his home. He was born Sept. 11, 1946, in Cape Girardeau, son of Fred L. and Mildred Howell Sturgeon. William A. Sturgeon, 55, of Ferguson, Mo., died Saturday, March 16, 2002, at his home.

He was born Sept. 11, 1946, in Cape Girardeau, son of Fred L. and Mildred Howell Sturgeon.

Sturgeon moved to Ferguson 12 years ago from Oran, Mo.

Survivors include a brother, Fred Sturgeon; two sisters, Judith Osseck of St. Johns, Mo., and Carolyn Boling.

Friends may call at White-Mullen Mortuary in Ferguson from 3 to 9 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 7:30 p.m. today at the mortuary. Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Friend Cemetery in Oran, with the Rev. John Harth officiating.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel at Chaffee, Mo., is in charge of local arrangements.
