William R. "Bill" Schott of Cape Girardeau passed away Saturday, June 6, 2020. He was born Aug. 6, 1931, in Old Appleton to the late William B. and Anna Lauck Schott. His family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Saint Francis Medical Center and Lutheran Home of Cape Girardeau for the compassion and care they provided him over the past month, when his family was unable to be with him...

William R. "Bill" Schott of Cape Girardeau passed away Saturday, June 6, 2020.

He was born Aug. 6, 1931, in Old Appleton to the late William B. and Anna Lauck Schott.

His family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Saint Francis Medical Center and Lutheran Home of Cape Girardeau for the compassion and care they provided him over the past month, when his family was unable to be with him.

Due to social-distancing requirements currently in effect, a private memorial service will be planned for a future date.

Donations may be made to the Kathy Schott Memorial Scholarship Fund of Notre Regional Dame High School of Cape Girardeau.
