MOUND CITY, Ill. - William Schoen, 75, of Mound City died Friday, Jan. 25, 1991 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Marion, Ill.
Schoen was an Army veteran of World War II and a recipient of the Purple Heart medal. He was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church of Olmsted.
Surviving are daughters Peggy Parker of Villa Ridge; Carolyn Woods of Alton; Cheryl Setnar of Phoenix, Ariz.; and Melesa McGill of Mounds. Also surviving are sons Don and Darrell Schoen, both of Mound City; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one sister.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Crain Funeral Home in Mound City. The Rev. Charles Metcalf will officiate.
Burial will be in the National Cemetery at Mound City.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Mound City after 5 p.m. Monday.
