DEXTER -- William Donald Rushing, 66, died Friday, March 19, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born March 21, 1932, at Shaw, Miss., son of the late William and Myrtle French Rushing. On Aug. 18, 1984, he married Phyliss Burch of Sikeston. She survives the home.

He was a U.S. Army Special Forces veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars.

Survivors include two sons, William Rushing of Bernie and Robert Rushing of Lamar; a stepson, Ronald Burch Jr. of Sikeston; a daughter, Crystal Gee of Tucson, Ariz.; his stepfather, Earl Bennett of Bernie; and two grandsons.

No service will be conducted. Rainey Funeral Home of Dexter is in charge of arrangements.
