William E. Ringpfiel, 80, of Cape Girardeau passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021.
He was born May 23, 1940, in St. Louis to William and Dolores Benz Ringpfiel. He and Teri Murray were married in April 1963 at St. Louis.
He served in the Army.
William completed two years of electrical schooling. He was an electrician with IBEW Local Union No. 1 of St. Louis, that his family helped establish.
He was a member of Cape Bible Chapel in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include his wife, Teri Ringpfiel of Cape Girardeau; two sons, Randy (Sheri) Ringpfiel of Jacksonville, Florida, and Brian Ringpfiel of Tallahassee, Florida; brother, Rick Reynolds of St. Louis; two grandchildren, Paige Ringpfiel and Christian Ringpfiel, both of Jacksonville; and a large, extended, loving family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.
A celebration of life will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Cape Bible Chapel in Cape Girardeau with the Rev. Ed Rothenburger officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Tunnels to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306.
Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
