William B. Reynolds, 75, of Hammond, Ind., died Monday, Nov. 27, 2000. He was born Oct. 2, 1925, in Cape Girardeau, son of Henry and Mary Donelly Reynolds. William B. Reynolds, 75, of Hammond, Ind., died Monday, Nov. 27, 2000.

He was born Oct. 2, 1925, in Cape Girardeau, son of Henry and Mary Donelly Reynolds.

Reynolds was a retired motor inspector at U.S. Steel Gary Works Continuous Cast Plant. He was a member of United Steel Workers Local 1014, and American Legion Post 367. He was formerly of Gary, Ind.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, the former Mattie Floyd; three sons, Fred Reynolds of Griffith, Ind., Jerry Reynolds of Cape Girardeau, William Reynolds Jr. of Springfield, Mo.; four daughters, Laura Valadez of Asheboro, N.C., Debbie Jones of Oak Ridge, Mo., Teresa Walters of Indianapolis, Ind., and Aretta Graves of Orlando, Fla.

He is also survived by three brothers, Tom Reynolds of Cape Girardeau, Paul Reynolds of Plano, Texas, John Reynolds of Hoffman Estates, Ill.; five stepchildren; 14 grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Geisen Funeral Home in Merrillville, Ind., from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville.
