BLOOMFIELD -- William Richard Strader, 84, of Poplar Bluff, formerly of Bloomfield, died Saturday, Nov. 14, 1992, at John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.

He was born June 27, 1908, at Harrisburg, Ark., son of Will and Minnie Shanklin Strader.

Strader was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include a son, Jerry Strader of Alabama; a brother, Wilson Strader of Independence, and two grandchildren.

Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Walker Cemetery, with the Rev. Ralph Mayes officiating.

Friends may call at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
