WILLIAM R. MAHONEY
William R. Mahoney, 88, of 3120 Independence, died Sunday, June 5, 1994, at the Chateau Girardeau Health Center. He was born Nov. 5, 1905, at Oxford, Ind., son of Denis J. and Susan DeWitt Mahoney. William R. Mahoney, 88, of 3120 Independence, died Sunday, June 5, 1994, at the Chateau Girardeau Health Center.
He was born Nov. 5, 1905, at Oxford, Ind., son of Denis J. and Susan DeWitt Mahoney.
He married Jewell Bone. She preceded him in death.
Mahoney was a metal treatment specialist and worked in aircraft manufacturing at McDonnell-Douglas in St. Louis, until his retirement.

He was a member of the S.S. John and James Holy Name Society and the Oxy Aviation Pioneers.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Ann LaManna and Susan M. Ritter; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. today at the White-Mullen Mortuary in Ferguson.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Florissant.
