WILLIAM R. BROWNE

SCOTT CITY -- William Robert Browne, 69, of Falls Church, Va., died Wednesday, April 5, 1995, at the home of a brother in Scott City.

He was born July 25, 1925, in Blytheville, Ark., son of Edward Jerome and Esther Dent Browne.

Browne was an attorney with the U.S. Patent Office in Washington, D.C.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Survivors include his mother of Jackson, and a brother, Dent Browne of Scott City.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Cobb Funeral Home in Blytheville. The Rev. Larry Dodgen will officiate, with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery in Blytheville.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. to service time.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City was in charge of local arrangements.
